The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra, an award-winning community orchestra, is celebrating its 48th season of great music. Recently honored as "Community Orchestra of the Year" by the Illinois Council of Orchestras, it continues to reach new heights of excellence.
The Elmhurst Symphony's "Free Annual Family Concert" of March 9th "The Story behind the Music" featuring Guest Artist Yuan-Qing Yu of the Chicago Symphony will be broadcast by COMCAST on Channel 6 in the Elmhurst cable area during April. This is a COMCAST COMMUNITY program of the "Our Kind of Town" series by the City of Elmhurst. This concert airdates can also be viewed in 33 other west suburban communities on channel 6 or 110.
